What is RSVP?

The AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program pairs thousands of Americans ages 55 and older with community organizations across the country.

Volunteers choose how, where, and when they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week.

What Do RSVP Volunteers Do?

​There are no educational, income, or experience requirements. RSVP offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities such as assisting at food pantries, mentoring children, assisting homebound seniors and enhancing the capacity of Non-profit organizations. RSVP volunteers put their unique talents to work to make a difference

Am I Eligible?

​Any person 55 years of age and older who wishes to share their experience, knowledge and skills is eligible to join RSVP. There are no restrictions based on education, income, or experience, nor any membership dues.  Anyone who wants to feel useful, needed, and appreciated will profit from becoming part of the RSVP network. 

What are the Benefits of Joining RSVP

Volunteering offers many health benefits, form lowering stress to boosting self-confidence. An additional benefit is the social interaction and community support. All RSVP volunteers receive supplemental accident insurance coverage. A quarterly newsletter mailed to members. You are also invited to our Annual Recognition Luncheon.
